RebeccaB
Anyone any suggestions on where i could organise a works night out for in sheff - pref central. We're looking to have a meal then stay in the same place for drinks afterwards. Nothing too fancy - went to wokmania last time which was good but you obviously have to move on to go drinking afterwards.
Rook
Go to the Last Laugh Comedy Club at the Roundhouse under Ponds Forge. It's £15 for a ticket. For that you get 3 comedians, plus the compare Toby Foster. They serve a pie and peas style menu, with all food less than a fiver. Then after the comedy there's a disco till 1pm. Everything you want under one roof!
Hanski
How about coming down to the Common Room for a 'whip your boss on the slates' pool comp. We have an exclusive pool area for hire and do a tasty menu featuring homemade burgers, nachos, wraps, pizzas and salads - perfect for a work do! Hanski
For the hire of the members area it is £100. This includes unlimited pool on two tables, a waitress and a pool host who will be on hand to organise a mini pool comp and hopefully break the ice! The area fits up to 50 guests and we have a number of buffet menus starting at £5.50 a head. Very popular for work style parties as it involves everyone and sets the evening off. We can also give all guests queue jump passes to either the Forum or Halcyon (both open til 1am)

Will keep it in mind for future nights out. any other suggestions?

Must agree here, we have been in here quite a few times after work, and the food is good, and the pool tables are nice and large, sometimes I might pot a ball, lol. They also have one lager at £1.50 until, I think, 7.30 or 8ish.... and some dishy bar staff as well
devlin
Know its not central - but a night at the dogs (owlerton) makes a change and is a great night out for a gang of folk. You can book a meal in the panorama bar, so keeping your seats which have a good view of the track - drink to your hearts content and have a fun flutter at the same time
