fox20thc
DS#2 was given a lovely art set yesterday, I thought I would encourage his creative side, in it was a pair of kids scissors. He loves cutting things out. An hour later he came in and said I have done you something lovely as a present but its a surprise for you and wandered off smirking... I went to the bathroom a little later to find a picture of a cartoon turd with a comical rhyme attached (cut from a comic) was GLUED! to the door Inside the bathroom as I sat pondering I raised my eyes to the ceiling to see wads of multi coloured mush stuck there like blue spotted bird droppings from a dodo (or choose your own large bird). Not connecting the two I summoned eldest DS#1 and interrogated him regarding said vandlism (recalling similar antics with bus tickets when I was a kid) He smiled and said it wasn't him - THIS TIME! (cunningly remembering I hacked one off another ceiling in the hall some months ago) I also pointed out the artwork on the door, to which he collapsed on the floor in fits of hysteria crying at the comical phrasing.. and chuckling that he taught his brother well. I just couldn't keep a straight face as it was quite funny though highly inappropriate. So after collecting myself I put on my sternest face and called DS#2 who said "but its funny mum..." to which I pointed out one does not redecorate the house in an ad-hoc basis without consulting me.. regarding the tissue turds on the ceiling his answer was... "but Zakk showed me how to do it, don't you love the blue bits, I created that by not just using water but mouthwash as well" He was so chuffed with himself By that time I just had to walk away and shake my head, no point is screaming but Im going to have a hell of a time soaking the masterpiece off the door! cosywolf
Oh, Fox, that had me giggling...it's your own fault for being such a motivated, enthusiastic, fun loving person. Then you go and make more little foxes and wonder why you have your hands full!! Lol. Never mind, they can only get bigger and capable of even more mischief...
