I would look for alternative premises if I was you.

I would look for alternative premises if I was you. Lucky lad! Large shop in suburban Manchester, around £160-£200 depending on site — plus, of course, commercial rates and other incidentals. But yes, £20 a day does seem a bit OTT for a market stall. I would have estimated a tenner at the most. Perhaps the council has an all-in charge which includes parking the van and electric lights during winter?

jimmyfinn
good luck with your new venture....markets can be fun....had a great laugh doing them myself....especially when its pouring with rain, its blowing a gale and your trying to stop your canopy and stall from blowing away
peterw
And all that’s apart from the lightning clothing-grabbers who simply collect armfuls, with hangers, and speed off into the crowd, never to be seen again! Markets are wonderful!
