Bassmonger
...hello. I'm in a newish "indie/pop-rock band with punk and folk influences"* called Dad's Bad News, and we're looking for gigs at the minute. As expected, we have a Myspace for you to look at, which includes some self-recorded demos: http://www.myspace.com/dadsbadnews Also, if any bands need support, or know of any promoters etc, can you let us know? CDs have been sent to most obvious venues, plus we've done stuff for Mark at RealPromo before, so they know us...but are there any others we might have missed? Cheers, Marc * Someone else said that, I wouldn't know how to describe us, to be honest. Other than 'rubbish', maybe. Er, I mean 'amazingly great'. Classic Rock
I should be able to get you on down at the Moorfoot, possibly with another band. Can you PM me dates when you are available on Saturday nights in Nov/Dec. Buffy
Bassmonger
Cheers, I'll ask the others when's good for them. I'm a United fan, so some weekends could be tricky, but having said that I went to the game on Saturday (soon wished I hadn't, mind) and we played the Grapes Saturday night, no probs. Thanks again. Any others?

Sheffair1
BASSMONGER...try a lad called Wayne Caley (he's the promoter at Bar Matrix). They're always looking for new bands + its a top venue. I think if you ring the venue they will pass on his contact number.
