Ousetunes
Hope so. I've always voted Tory up here with one exception which is when I voted Lib Dem to oust Labour out of Sheffield. Never again. As someone only too aware of the mess the Lib Dems are currently responsible for in York, the mind boggles at what they could do to this country given a chance. Having heard a couple of their policies this morning (not to mention freebies to entice ethnic and female would-be councillors) at least we know there's no chance on earth of their ever ruling from Westminster. Umeeksk
No. Hallam is one of the safest Lib Dem seats in the country, with a majority of over 8,000 - and we won each of the five council seats contested in 2006 with at least a 500 majority. The boundary review will not significantly alter that - the Lib Dems had 13 out of 15 councillors before the boundary changes, and will still have 13 out of 15 after it. Stannington is not exactly a Tory stronghold. Still, if you want to put some money on it I'll snap your hand off...
