If my beer belly gets any bigger, I'll need a "Wok" to iron mi shirts on.
littleboo
No, they do have bigger clothes in the sale. They're at the end of that narrow aisle! who said I was fat????
Rusted Root
Didn't anyone see that program the other night on fat discrimination? I think that its disgusting that people are so rude and shout things in the street. But, I don't think we should be encouraging people to be obese as it is bad for their health, and stocking an abundence of large clothes may do this. Think about it, surely not being able to find any clothes to fit you would be an incentive to slim.
beckb
As a fat bird I am sick of shopping at Evans and the like - I have limited choice of clothes and not much of it is high fashion. But that said, I don't think that Top Shop and the like should be beaten up for not doing larger sizes - a lot of what they stock is probably best not made in a size 22 +. (Still having nightmares from a pair of size 32 leopard print cycling shorts I saw in the sale in a largerladies shop - WHY????) I'm currently on a shrinking mission (half a stone lost this week - whoohoo!) and will be glad to escape Evans and work my way down to Dorothy Perkins, M&S and Next where I will celebrate my well earned slimness by buying loads of nice, smaller clothes! tom3t0
I agree that shops would be able to sell far more size 16+ than they currently stock. My pet peeve however, is that manufacturers seem to think that if you are "fat", you are small, and only thin peole are tall - this really makes me mad! i find it vice versa- always struglle to find 30-32 waist with 32 length legs jeans
hockers666
Why do most shops disciminate aganst fat people like not stocking clothes that fit i am thinking of the big chainstore's. nick2
i find it vice versa- always struglle to find 30-32 waist with 32 length legs jeans Try finding a 32 waist and 34/36 inside leg, it's imposible. The shops don't stock that size combination because not enough people want it. I shop online now mostly, it's cheaper and you have more choice. RichC
I love it when fat people complain, more often than not with crisp crumbs down their shirts, about how they're discriminated against. Here's an idea, Moby-Dick - stop eating and lose some weight.
stackmonkey
i find it vice versa- always struglle to find 30-32 waist with 32 length legs jeans Gap, Next and Levi for a start. Gap are great for me because they do a 31" waist with 32" leg.
dieselbabe
It get's me so mad when people go on about obease people or just because someone is a little over weight, Iam very over weight not only due to medical reasons but also for giveing up a 16y+ smokeing habbit all because i seen how much it had change with the no smokeing in public they no point in smokeing and also it give a better life for me and my kid. But the stick i get im thinking of starting again with all the weight i put on and the taunts i get. I gave up drinking and drugs too two years ago i was takeing for many year's as it open my eyes on how evil drink and drugs change people and i could hide that habbit but i can not hide i am over weight. and stoping the food i eat as been a lot harder to stop then giveing up the drink smokeing and drugs. Now im getting stick from people all because im fat and my body has turn to anouther drug FOOD. It is not hurting none of you, also to tell you the truth i was more thinner and healthy takeing drugs smokeing and driking because i was not eating as much so it does put a strain on me with all the weight not you, you can not catch fat from me and kill you just like you can if i was smokeing still around you or taking drugs or drink and harm you wile im under the influence. Yes befor anyone say i can excerise and i do but only so much i can do with the medical reason i have and also ive not been excepted by people that i have little equipment at home to help me so it takeing longer to loose, as when i join a gym i got stared at like i was some kind of alien and i never felt so alone or scared like that befor as i use to use the gym year's ago when i was stopping my habbits to help me, but because i was thinner i did not get the stares like i did, like i should not be in their little world just because im not thin, I wish people would just back off and let people do things in they own time. And also try to give more support or respect to people that are over weight as sometimes it not the person falt, and maybe even they are trying to loose the weight, as when you taunt a person that is over weight most of the time your nasty words only makes things worst not better for that person and then that can make them turn to more of their drug FOOD.
