Car Parking for University Campuses

If you're a student or you're working there you can apply for a permit from Room and Parking Services which costs about £120 for the year. I've got one and it's great cos it means I never have to pay for parking in town. :)

EDIT: I'm talking about the University of Sheffield by the way. I don't know about Hallam (although you can usually find places to park near Castle College which isn't really far to walk).

People, listen to me. Parking spaces need not be a problem. I have just built a great new site to solve it. I thought of the idea when I was at uni myself (I didn't have a car, I had a pushbike, but I was hearing students moaning all day about having nowhere to park, but when on my bike I passed loads of driveways empty by the uni!). I can't post my url here, but search for thatsconvenient dot com.

Please let me know what you think, I don't know if the idea will work yet.

Good luck.

Dave.
