chickywiggle
what phone companies are you with? what do you find the network coverage to be like? what package are you on? have just rung o2 to upgrade my phone and they said they wouldn't do it witout changing my tarrif!! best she could manage was an extra £10 a month for less texts and less minutes. interesting to see what other companies are offering. P.S. before anyone says - look on google - i am - just want some other opinions. cheers
DaFoot
Why google? Go to the networks own web pages and see what they offer. Can a 3rd party really offer a better deal than going direct to a network?

I did that and you can only get a new phone if you co to a normal contract. They make their money back for the phone through your line rental charges. However, when I threatened to go to 3 for a better deal, I managed to get a fantastic deal out of them (so fantastic that apparently its impossible according to their custyomer service, but I'm no changing!!) I pay £19 a month for 500 cross network anytime minutes and 200 texts. I don't use internet stuff really so not bothered about that.
chickywiggle
yup - but i didn't realise that - adn i've already had afree upgrade without havign to change my contract (which accordign to advisor i should never have had!) i said at end of conversation - ok i'll go and see what other companies have to offer and all she said was "ok then, thanks for ringing, bye". they obviously really value customers that have been with them for 6 years!!
