NTL cable company payment problems

asti

Recommended Posts

It seems to be telewest up here, which I believe is now owned by NTL don't get me started with them, we had MASSIVE problems with NTL payments when we left the midlands, we paid it all up...then they kept billing me up here...where NTL do not cover...I had to threaten legal action to get them to stop.

Now Telewest although owned by NTL are much different, their staff (so far) know what they're doing

The problem i have is getting the account changed into my name, it was cancelled in july by my ex partner by letter and e,mail (which ntl deny receiving) and should have been re-enstated on different terms in my name,

how difficult is that? 2 months down the line still no joy, sent numerous letters, phone calls are just a waste of time and money, the only form thats been received from ntl (to my ex partner) is regarding a gender change WHATS ALL THAT ABOUT??

I've found the call centre staff 's product knowledge confused, they also give a really good impression of doing all they can to put things right but in the end nothing happens.

I feel better now i've had a moan,.... Hmmmm think i'll call ntl.

regards

Telewest are rubbish as well. I'll get sky if anything when I next move house. It's lots of little annoying things with telewest. The on-screen navigation really does my head in - it should have details of what's on now & next for each channel as you scroll through, but more often than not it just says information not available. None of the interactive things work properly - they're so slow as to be unusable. There are many other things as well but I can't be bothered spending the next hour listing them...
