beansforyou
Woohoo, I never ever win these types of competitions, but I always enter the free comps in Simply Knitting. I've just recieved my Felted Hat Kit from Twilleys, which I've won in the September Issue! I bought Octobers yesterday but never checked the winners page This is the kit guess i'd better have a go at felting now! What a birthday surpise! turra21
It's Sunday, i'll be 32 although I still feel about 15, is this normal Sadly yes and the older you get the younger you feel. I've just had another birthday, and I'm now nearer 45 than 40 and as my brother says it is so quick from there to 50:o But I still feel like 20 something. Only themirror tells the truth. Remove them all from everywhere in the UK and then you won't have a problem!!
beansforyou
Maybe we could switch the mirros for bars of chocolate, would anyone notice? or complain? I don't really like the style of the hat in the kit I won, I might try using the yarn and making a felt bag instead.
Shiesh
I hope you never used the same colours as the kit... Well done BTW
Guest
I like those colours! If beansforyou doesn't, she can experiment with overdyeing before knitting it up. I think it would tone down to more autumnal colours with a bit of care (I haven't checked, but I'm presuming it's pure wool as it's a felting kit). beansforyou
It is pure wool, and is very vibrant, just how I like it I'll have to post some photo's of the yarns i've been painting and spinning this last week, as well as the bag i've just completed, thanks to help from my mum showing me how to use my sewing machine to do the lining. gempud
Well done! It's nice to know that people actually win those competitions and it's not just a bunch of made up names!
