SpeedwayDan
yeah, got the box set, did anybody else enjoy watching that peter kay thing, it was done before phoenix nights, one of the episodes was based around the phoenix club:thumbsup:
tazman
Sweet Mary mother of jesus, it was brilliant. Never saw it on the T.V first time round, but started to watch it when it was repeated. Now got the double boxed set and Max and Paddys Road to Nowhere as well. The kids know the episode where they knock down the cow virtually word for word and everytime I order a mixed grill, we always repeat that part of the sketch liver, sausage, liver etc etc. Toby Foster off Radio Sheffield was on the series and played the drummer in the band at The Phoenix Club and is always seen at the end of each episode as part of the panel reviewing the acts auditioning at the club.
