goldenfleece
Anyone use this and having problems with it lately? If you check the turbo lister forums a lot of people are having trouble with the design view window simply not working at all and not being able to edit any item descriptions whatsoever. I have 2 identical machines and turbo lister 'design view' works on one, but not the other...and both are the same versions and both Win Xp SP2 systems....both systems are mirrors of the other..... Seems to be effecting users at random and there is no known solution from what I can see on the help forums.....
RiffRaff
Strange, this.... Don't use Turbo lister myself, but instead use AlienFiles - same sort of thing, and I started with it before TL came on the scene, so why change? Better the devil you know, etc... Anyway, no great hassle until a fortnight-or-so ago, when I was compiling a new listing....one of the adv's with Alien is that you can submit up to (from memory) 20-odd photo's at no extra eBay cost, and there I was, banging up x photo's to do with the item. Submitted it, checked it -yup, all fine and dandy. Did a different item, submitted it and....all the photo's from the previous listing were with the new item's too! Thought I'd cocked it up, so did it again....same thing, except that all pic's were now duplicated twice over! This went on for a good few days - asked the obvious question at AlienFiles "HelpDesk", only to find that they have a rather unusual way of handling queries - they send them straight back to you as a file attachment! - but I eventually worked out that the problem lay at eBay's end rather than mine.... Few days later, tried again and all OK. Wonder if the AlienFiles system (which apes the TurboLister) found the/your problem first?
richard
A client of mine who is an eBay Power Seller has used Turbo Lister in the past and frequently had problems with it. I think it comes with the territory, hopefully they will improve it.
