Becky B
My friend is pregnant and I want to get started on some small projects :-) I've attempted to scale down my favourite sock pattern without much success... Does anyone have any patterns they could lend me? Thanks!
Guest
There are links to several web sites which have loads of free knitting patterns for baby clothes in the 'recommended knitting links' thread at the top of the page. Those are just the ones I've found, or which have been recommended to me though. If you do a Google search for the baby garment you're interested in, plus the phrase 'knitting pattern' and 'free', you're bound to turn more up too. EDIT: There are definitely free patterns for baby socks, because I've downloaded them and knit them myself. I'll have a check if I still have them on the computer somewhere. Guest
I've found a pdf file of a free pattern for baby socks which I used last year. If you PM me your email address, I'll send it on to you.

Guest
I like these and these for baby socks:D They're lovely. I really like 'Meg'. Much better than the one I've got, which is just a simple stocking stitch one.
AmelieB
The fraternal ones come up teeny tiny, perfect size for new borns. I like that, because a lot of baby socks are dsigned more for 12 mths upwards, and sometimes you really do want to knit a squidgy small sock
