Daisy129
Hi Could someone give me a rough idea how much a travel agent would come out with per month? I know that they earn commision but how does that work? I'm thinking of a bit of a career change. Thanks Daisy xx
mph0151
Hi its been nearly 3 years since i worked in travel agency but the pay was not great less than 10k a year. You can make it up in commission but not all sales earned commission and at quiet periods we were lucky to get £30 a month in commission.
ukstudent
Hi Daisy. I know you were asking about salary expectations, which would normally depend on your experience and qualifications. Have you studied tourism before? If not, it may be possible to get a travel agency job, but I would really advise you maybe look at a college course as there are lots running nowadays so employers have a wider choice of people who have the right qualifications and travel knowledge.
