Stress and your mobile

People are becoming addicted to mobile phones, causing them to become stressed and irritable, psychologists say.

Do you get stressed out if you don't have yours or are the psychologists talking rot again ?

I know I always carry mine and get well narked if I forget it but that's business.

I agree with that 100%

I often think that mobiles are more of a curse than a blessing.

I get really narked and irritable, If I send a text and dont get one back, or if it takes someone ages to reply.I mean, how long does it take to write a freekin text?

You may have guessed, Im waiting for someone to reply at the moment:hihi:

My mobile is my second brain, i use it for appointments and stuff so without it id be utterly buggered.

It isnt even as if i use it as a phone, i rarely phone anyone with it, i text my other half and people i used to work with occasionally, but its main use is as a crap entertainment center, i have the crazy frog and harry the hamster and tons of stuff like that on it.

I might agree with that if I had any idea what it said!

I rarely use a mobile phone and have mine switched off for weeks at a time unless I am off on a trip and expecting a call. I have had seven text messages in the last year (since I got this phone) and 4 of them where from someone sending me useful information such as passwords that is better sent as text.

I don't quite understand why anyone needs to contact someone immediately. When I overhear bits of other peoples conversation they always seem inane to me and nothing that wouldn't wait until the end of the day. Perhaps when people get home they don't talk to each other but rather go to seperate rooms and send text message such as "is T red e yet".
