TalkTalk Free Broadband offer is Rubbish

The offer that TalkTalk & Carphone Warehouse are offering, is nothing but a load of rubbish! Avoid at all cost, unless you want to keep off the Internet for long periods.

A friend of mine took up the "free broadband" offer and should have been connected over a month ago, and so far nothing, zilch, nadda, sweet FA!

TalkTalk and Carphone Warehouse are pulling a fast one on their customers by promising a service that they are not providing.

Pass this message on to any person who is thinking of joining TalkTalk.

Message to admin. I can back this up with documents if need be, and my friend (if he ever gets on line with TalkTalk) is prepared to make and statements to back up this story, even if it gets to court!

Told I would be connected by end of September.

Absolutely disgusted - I had to wait till August 31st for mine!:hihi: :hihi:

No probs so far, I was told their Customer services were no good. They're not brilliant. But I was getting crap CS from my last ISP and I'm now saving the £14.99 I was paying before.:P

Is that one of the providers that makes you sign your BT line and line rental over to them? I made the mistake of doing that with Bulldog (the phone company/ISP from Hell). Even though we cancelled many months ago and got a telewest line in, we still get email bills from them every month.

There can also be problems if your line goes down. We were disconnected for over a fortnight last year while Bulldog and BT bickered over who's fault it was! This meant I had to make many trips to the phone box to try to get it sorted out!
