Liam101
I am looking for a place to go camping in Sheffield. The site must allow small fires (BBQ) and not have a strict rule about noise. The areas I'm looking at are Ecclesall, Millhouses, Dore, Totley & Whirlow as I would rather not travel far. I think my requirements will be hard to find, but please try your best to suggest! Oh and remember it has to be legal, not a farmers field! Thanks.
Shiesh
You're right a site with your requirements isn't just hard to find - it doesn't exist !!! Even sites that will take single sex groups or even groups of young people operate strict rules on noise *Please note the camping out option is not suitable for boisterous groups* - since local camping site managers will ask your whole party to leave unceremoniously if any member makes problems for other campers on the same site. Making a lot of noise is enough for groups to be asked to leave without any further ado, so forget camping if your party members are not going to behave themselves ! I think an isolated farmers field is your only option!! But don't get caught - many farmers carry guns or have rather big dogs with them!
m^rk
I would just go camping in the peak district in the woods my mates did it all the time around burbage edge and the woods round there And did not get caught i think its pathetic that you can't camp where you like.
