naps
When trying to open a .exe file from a recently unzipped folder (from a floppy-A: drive), i get the following message: This application may depend on other compressed files in this folder. For the application to run properly, it is recommeded that you first extract all files. Ok, so after I click on "Extract All", it starts up extraction wizard, then after clicking on next, it wurrs away in my A: drive for a bit, then gives me the an error message, and won't let me carry on. Can anyone help?
Meaks
What's the error message? Could be a corrupt zip file, especially if its on floppy.
steev
Copy the contents of the zip file somewhere sensible, ie folder on your desktop or summat. Either it's what it warns about, "This application may depend on other compressed files yada yada", or it's trying to temporarily unzip it to the same device it's on, your floppy drive, & running out of space. I was hoping to keep it all on the floppy. BUt I wil give that a try. In the meantime, can you reccommend a good, free, downloadable zip program?
