GoGo_dancer
Just been to see my best mate to have a nosy at her 20 week scan pics (so cute!) and she's asked me to buy her a journal/keepsake book. I've had a look on the web and there are some really nice ones but I think I would really like to make one myself. (I made all my own wedding stationary last year and really enjoyed it!) So, what things should I include? So far I've got Main intro, parent info due date, midwife appts and scan pics Page for bump pics Page for birth details and pics Page for pics of baby with parents and grandparents Page for list of baby gifts rec'd First smile/tooth/curl/steps etc Also thought of having a page for comments from family and friends to be filled in at the baby shower. Pockets at the back for hospital tag and other bits Anything else?

Rooty
I was looking at these sort of journals in Mothercare when my mum had the baby, one of them was very nice and had absolutley loads of stuff in it. You could go into a mothercare or probably waterstones to get a good idea of what to include.

GoGo_dancer
My son is 3, I wish I'd kept a journal of all the cute things he said when he was learning to talk. Ooh, good idea....a page for my first sentences, not just my first word.... My brain is working overtime on this, I'm now thinking of making a keepsake box, with a matching journal inside, then there is more room to keep bits and bobs..... Looks like a trip to Hobbycraft this weekend then!

Zebra
Leave lots of space for photos, I kept a diary through pregnancy and took lots of pics, me pregnant on holiday, their Dad faking a bump on holiday, our cat, me later in pregnancy and then we were able to start adding Dad in scrubs, me just after the birth with the twins etc etc etc so it becamre an illustrated diary of life before they were born and as soon as they arrived. have got very little time to add info right now (but we have got twins) but I write allt he important info on the calendar so I can update their books when I get time. Maybe a calendar would help, would be nice if it matched too.
