fierysatsuma
I've bought a domain from 123-reg and I have now put together a small site in Publisher - only 4 basic pages. What do I do about hosting this site? I know 123-reg do it but only for free if 1-page. Is there anyone who does say, a 12-month free offer? Thanks

sallonoroff
Yeah, your ISP will probably offer you a small amount of free webspace... maybe 15-25MB. +

Thats hosted on them.. Yes it is, pop-ups are very annoying. A couple of cheap pay-for options for you: http://www.jswf.co.uk < £10/year http://www.catalyst2.com < £11.99 (+VAT)/year
sallonoroff
Yes it is, pop-ups are very annoying. Agreed. And it looks unprofessional if the site is something business-related. +
sccsux
Yes it is, pop-ups are very annoying. I allowed the scripts inserted by the host to run... Bloody scared me ^%$%less:D.

sccsux
http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/freewebhosting.shtml never say there's no such thing as a free lunch. Only 100meg of data transfer per month though:(.
fnkysknky
I presume that's where they make their money though. You sign up for a free account but then have to pay once you go over 100meg which is highly likely if it's anything but a small personal site with limited pictures. They give you 2.5gb webspace and then 100meg a month limit, lol.
