littlebasher
Okay, so i had a 2nd viewing last week and never heard anything back This morning, Blundells call - an offer has been received (which i'll turn down as its a bit low, as you do). Anyway, the post has just arrived with confirmation of the offer (which was quick i thought). The offer was made on Friday! - the first i've heard about it is today If you were buying a house, placed an offer and never heard anything back for 4 days would you still be interested in the house?.....Probably not. Looks like they've just cost me a sale (fantastic)....What do they do for their fee? I tried phoning but the woman on reception isnt interested in helping, she wants me to speak to my negotiator (who is busy)... Being that in the past i've tried (unsucessfully) on 6 occassions to get my negotiator to phone me back, im not holding out too much hope.
aussieboy
Cut them out of the process and give viewers your contact details. Ask them to keep you in the loop with any offers or requests for further viewings. You'll be doing their job for them, but what other option do you have..? littlebasher
If only i had the contact details of the people that put the offer in, could have saved all this hassle Im Royally p**sed off right now
okka north
I had the misfortune of dealing with them when I bought my house. They were rude and so unhelpful. I will not be using them when I sell it.
bensonhedges
The thing that always gets me when a Blundells thread comes along is, if nobody has a good word to say about them, why are they so damned successful?
shirker
I used blundells last year, and they sold my property in a week for more than asking price, when the agents who had it before couldn't shift it for less than asking price in 6 months! **Topgun**
I used blundells last year, and they sold my property in a week for more than asking price, Trouble is they normally undervalue your house ( £10,000 - £20,000 ) to get a quick sale. Camrat78
They valued my house 10,000 less than haybrook. Its one thing thast they say they sell more houses than anyone else, but thats because they undervalue them.

Carmine
Blundells managed to sell my house in a fortnight, get us more than two dozen viewings in that two weeks, netted a record number of offers and the negotiator working with us fought tooth and nail to get us leverage on the properties we were looking at on their books at the other end. It was their inspired negotiating that bagged us our wonderful new house and saw our old home sold for 10K+ above asking price.
