Cameron, new level of arrogance

Recommended Posts

In his recent speech Cameron as good as said that Churchill, Thatcher, and Major were US poodles. (junior partners).

He implies that if ever he was in that position, that he would stand against them and fight for right.

Is there no end to his foolishness?

Who does he think all this daft talk is impressing?

He should read the folk tale about the man who tried to please everybody.

Before he ends up with a starring role in the 'emporers new clothes' :hihi:

Cameron's repudiation of neo-conservatism is one of the few things he has done which has impressed me. Although the neo-cons have a tough guy reputation in relation to foreign policy it should also be remembered that they favour open door immigration policies in western countries.

The ting that irritates me about the man, is not what he says, much of it is very laudable.

It is the fact that he does not mean, or even believe one single word of it.

Any one as smarmy as he is cannot be trusted one iota. He exudes hypocrisy.

That could be said to be true of most political leaders, including the incumbent prime minister and US president.

This is true.

The problem is that these days top people are not elected for their knowledge, but for their media savvy and so called 'charisma'

All this latest business regarding Blair and Brown is overblown media hype.

Some great men fall by the wayside because the press barons of the day do not like them :(

Wasn't there an old saying that those who "want" power are corrupt ?

Totally agree with what you've said
