kel83
Hi everyone. I've just bought a new 3 bed apartment up at Norfolk Park. It's a lovely place (and nearly ready to move in!) but I have a problem with one of the rooms- it's too small! I need a builder/carpenter to do some work in it, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? What I want doing is a wall knocked down and moved about a metre (into the landing) to make the room a little bigger. I've been told it's not a supporting wall, and only a flimsy one like you get in these new houses, and so it shouldn't be too big a job. I also want a custom built bed- it's hard to describe, but because the room sort of goes over the stairs, there's a ledge about a metre squared that I want to form part of the base of a bed, with a wooden frame being built around it to put the mattress on. I guess I probably didn't need to go into all that detail. Can anyone help?
