vicki85
Hi, hoping someone can help me pretty quick. My MOT is due on Wednesday and I'm pretty sure I might need some more tyres (even if I don't to pass I need some soon). Money is a wee bit tight at the minute and I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere with dome good deals on tyres. I'm a delivery driver so I do a fair few miles and need something decent, but I don't need anything too flashy and boy racer-ish, after all, its only an Ibiza. Sure I've seen somewhere with BOGOF deal on tyres, but can't remember where, near Sharrow would be a bonus. Thanks muchly Vicki
pinkdolphin3
I always go to Budget Tyres on Bawrty road, always the cheapest on new and part worn, their number is 01709 720070
mrsb73
Autodynamics on Attercliffe road - cheaper than BOGOFs anyway. 2431019

sccsux
You can quite often get them at scrap yards really cheap, Bad move. They could've been exposed to the elements (rain etc) for ages, which degrades the rubber in the tyres. I bought 2 new tyres, and had the tracking adjusted on Saturday, only cost £95 all in:thumbsup:
richpc
have a look on http://www.mytyres.co.uk as they are very cheap and they can be delievered and fitted at the tyre place next to the pheasant at lane top

When stored in a scrap yard, only one segment/portion of the tyre is in continual contact with the floor. Stick some tyres on a car, stick it in a pool of mud/water/pertol/oil/brake fluid/antifreeze etc and see how quickly the degrade:thumbsup:
Skatiechik
Depends on the scrapyard you go to, most have a high turn over rate. Where do you think the garages get their part worns from? The tyre place next door to rotherham caravans is normally good in brinsworth, just down the road from meadowhall.
