Gangan
Does anyone recall Little Arthur Sellars? He WAS a small man with a big voice. He often used to sing in working mens clubs, esp his own, The Wadsley Bridge Working Mens Club. This was in the 40s & 50s.He used to sing all the old songs like The Sergeant Major,Danny Boy,The Bandolero,The Holy City,Friend Of Mine,The Laughing Policeman, and many many more.He died in Jan 1980.He left us tape recordings of himself singing. Also sheet music.I recently put some of these songs on to CD.He was my Dad & it"s lovely to hear his voice still.
