Romario
Hi I'm looking for a breeder of Jack Russells in the South Yorkshire or Deryshire area, does anyone know of any. It would be an advantage to see the parents too. Rom

Lotti
It would be more than an advantage! You should demand to meet at least the mother. See the dam with the pups and spend some time with the dam (and sire if possible) to see their temperaments. I'd also suggest viewing the pups on different days as they don't always show their true colours! Make sure you push for what you want - it's worth it to know you're picking the right companion to spend the next 15 years or more with you! As for an answer to your question! Take a look at this link: http://www.dogclub.co.uk/dogs/profile-pjrt.php Good luck.
Romario
Hi Ive just lost my Lucy, she meant the world to me, but th emamary tumors removed spread to her head & the other night she had such seizures, it frightened the hell out of me, they stoped & then started, her whole body & we took her to pdsa & they sedated her. For 10 hours they sedated her & every half hour they brought her round only to see the massive convulsions she was having. They said that it wasn't epilepsy as it only lasts a fiew minutes & this, without sedation would have been forever! She was 14 , the most clean dog ever, she peed on the mat near th loo as it probably smelt, she scratched at the door when wanting the loo, she had so many antics as a JackRussell has. I can' t talk anymore i'm too upset. Rom
Rainrescue
Sorry to hear about your sad news for loosing Lucy - but what a blessing that she was owned by someone so loving and caring as you. Do you have to have a puppy? Wouldn't you consider rescuing a dog that was due to be put to sleep and is now being given a second chance. I know of 2 jack russels that we have saved from being destroyed. Both of them are males tho - if youa re interested - have a look on my web site http://www.rainrescue.co.uk, Pepper is at DOGS AT NEWARK and JR is at DOGS AT RETFORD - i have seen both of them and both different characters. we do get bitches from time to time, so you could always keep checking the site, or phone the placesup and ask them to see if any have come in. Good luck in your quest - where would we be without these dogs to give us the love we need - and they expect absolutely nothing in return other than kindness and care. Lotti
So sorry to hear of your loss. Made all the worse by being so traumatic. She sounded like she was a lovely little character. I hope some of the links given by myself and rainrescue have helped. Run free at rainbow bridge Lucy.
