Geoff
Interesting information. There is a traffic cops style show which I've seen that follows a specialist traffic/road crime force down in Thames Valley (I think?). They have some pretty neat kit in their cars and they seem to work very well as a proper unit, rather than just 3-4 cars driving around!

max
How fast would you have to be going to be not worried by seeing this baby in your rear view mirror? Pursuit vehicle 2, maybe 3 miles per hour?
Geoff
Under Operation Takeaway, South Yorkshire Police’s initiative to take uninsured vehicles off the county’s roads, over 1600 vehicles have been seized so far this year. That's an amazing number of vehicles for just over 8 months! I still don't understand why they crush them rather than sell them at auction - I'm referring to the ones of value rather than the rust buckets!
