rosaespanola
Has anyone ever stayed at Ladybower Inn? I'm looking for somewhere to take my other half for our anniversary, we can't go for more than one night so I don't want to have to go far from Sheffield and I thought the Ladybower might be good. I like the pub but I'm just wondering what the accommodation's like - it's £60-£70 per night for a double room which I think is a bit steep. Any opinions from people who've been, or suggestions of anywhere else to go will be much appreciated!
never wrong
Come on £60 £70 a night for a double room at countryside hotel you amaze me, how much were you expecting to pay, I THINK FOR A DERBYSHIRE COUNTRY INN the price is quite reasonable people have to earn a living they not in it for love

Grahame
I was looking for a romantic break in York thinking there would be things to do as well. It may be too far for you but I thought the prices were very good myself although due to circumstances we didn't go, but you may like to look at these hotels. http://www.iknow-yorkshire.co.uk/north_yorkshire/york_uk/all_prices/hotels/all_specialities/
