jules13
We're off work next week for a week, so, after united have played later, we're going to the caravan till Tuesday. I know this seems like a strange day to come back, but, it's hubby's birthday on Thursday and I need to get organised! He doesn't know it, but I've booked some tickets to see 'The Blues Band' at Chesterfield on Thursday night and I'm hoping to get us booked in at our fave Thai place before hand. Anyway, hopefully the weather will keeep nice and I'll get load of knitting done! See you soon:thumbsup:

jules13
Thanks everyone. We're not going till about 6ish after he's home from the match. He's leaving me with the ironing and stuff...I'm sure thats wrong somewhere! Can't have got him as well trained as I thought!

Find some yarn shops while you're on holiday and drag him around those. A few hours examining the delights of Rowan, RYC and Sirdar should go some way to showing him the error of his ways, particularly if you browse with his credit card . jules13
Tried that! There is only one with not a very good selection. We're only going till Tuesday so i'm taking plenty of stuff with me. He'll be x boxing if the weather isn't up to much and I've downloaded a few podcasts that i haven't listened to yet so we'll be fine. One good thing about having your own static, you can do what you want. No working round breakfast times etc. There's loads starting on tv this week so a few nibbles and wine for him and water for me and we'll be as happy as we are at home! Anyway, I don't do bad, he does do all the cooking all the time! And makes sarnies for work and other stuff so I can't complain. As for using his credit card, well, Its the NEC next week!! And I'm after a new laptop, so I'm being extra nice to him!
