cheboy
I agreed to let this company come out and give me a quote for a conservatory. They quoted £22.500 for a 3m square and quickly reduced the quote when i pointed out they could stick it. The salesman came out at 6pm and I had to ask him to leave at 8.30pm so we could eat our evening meal. I had dropped lots of hints by warming the oven etc. He said he would ring at 9.30pm and come back to sign the contract. When I asked for written contract stating what exactly I would recieve etc I was told they could'nt do that because I was getting it at trade, £15.000. This company have just moved into Sheffield and are based in Birmingham. Has anyone any more info on them. Beware if you recieve any contact from them. Zaytsev
£15,000 for 3 sq mtrs. That sounds pretty expensive if its just a dwarf wall and white uPVC. Are they doing any other work such as landscaping or decking? Our construction company recently supplied and fitted a 3.1 m x 3.2 m Dwarf Wall, white uPVC conservatory, Decking and Flagstones, electrics to interior and plastering for just under £11,000. The work was carried out to a detailed job specification and contract agreed and signed by ourselves and the client. This clearly laid out our obligations to supply and install the conservatory to specification and a high standard of installation and also the clients obligation to pay on completion of the works. These are the pictures of the construction stages and finished project. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture104.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture130.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture142.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture143.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture172.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/garyeyre/Picture173.jpg Hope this helps. macdee
From a company you should not be paying more than £7,000 for the Conservatory. Hire a builder and a window fitter and you will save even more.
