smithski
Anyone any ideas how to discourage kids (teenagers) from gathering at the end of a gennel, which basically means they're outside our front window most of the evening, nearly every day. This only started a couple of months ago but they seem to have settled in there now, gathering in groups of 6 or so. Not causing any real mischief, but just having them there 'in your face' is unpleasant. Haven't said anything to them yet as have been hoping they'll move on, also don't want to aggrevate the situation as, obviously, they know where we live ! Would appreciate any tips for dealing with this.
Tony
I've found that an excitable Doberman works wonders on the Fulwood Massive All those pearly white teeth and rumbling growls make for a clean pair of heels.
rubydazzler
Go and stand out there and chat with them, or just sit on your own windowsill and have a drink and a fag or something ... I bet they soon move on.
Jabberwocky
Pour a couple of bottles of cheap bleach on the floor near to where they stand. The stink`ll drive `em away.
AmelieB
I nicely ask them to move. If you can suggest somewhere else for them to go then they're generally amenable, but if you just tell them to naff off they'll never shift.

Ms Macbeth
Play some classical music, or opera fairly loudly, and open the window!
