RichLA
Renting at the moment and looking to buy very soon. Probably got about £110k to spend and looking for a 'reasonable area', preferebly a house. What is Woodhouse and Frecheville like? Anyone got any other suggested areas? will_
Beighton and Sothall are both nearby to Woodhouse, seem quite well regarded and are on the tram route. I'm considering Woodhouse too and would like to hear some opinions from people living there, especially about safety and the areas near the train station. Bloomdido
Try Handsworth instead.
Strix
There's a couple of threads about Woodhouse already - and I know Hazel will recommend a move to Woodhouse Like anywhere, it has good and bad areas. In that price bracket you'll probably get a nice terraced house (can't think of a street to avoid with one of those on), but I'd steer clear of the severnside estate, and the Badger it probably best avoided too. I'm happy to answer PMs if you like PS - Handsworth is 'patchy' too
Camrat78
Hi, Am selling my two bed semi in Frecheville for £115,000 - £120,000 if your interested. Frecheville is really nice (but I would say that), never had any problems here.
RichLA
What street is it in? Not really in the position to buy at the moment I am afraid. But if it is still for sale when we have a motgage secured then prob will be interested. Just trying to work out where we want to stay just! No one really seems to be that opinionated about Frecheville and I can't work out why!?!?!
Camrat78
Its just off Lindley Lane, near the bottom part of Frecheville if you know the area. I would take people not having an opnion about the area as being resonably positive. The fact that nobaody has much to say shows that not much happens there, at least where i am not much happens.
