Who's next for a new stadium?

Do you think that some of the clubs in Premier should relocate instead of DIY at home? Arsenal have a Brand spanking new stadium although I think they should have made the capacity more, Man City got the Commonwealth games stadium and now Liverpool are on the verge of relocating to a new ground. On the other side Chelsea have rebuilt over the years and in my opinion need the DIY SOS team in as the Bridge is not a good looking ground, whereas Man Utd have developed their ground to a larger capacity and, I hate to say it, it's a great looking stadium.

Do you go the games, Scottishdude?

All these new stadiums are boring! Leicester, Stoke, Hull etc. all from the same blueprint. You've been to one, you've been to em all.

Give me redeveloped old-fashioned grounds anyday - Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, Anfield etc. are much better than your boring faceless new ones.

Agree with what you are saying but I just think that the way they did the Bridge is a bit put together rather than thought through.

I like stadiums with character personally eg Nou Camp, Stad de France even Calley Thistles revamp at Inverness. I also think that Wembley should have been rebuilt on its original site but keep the towers and rebuild round them which would have been possible.

And yes I go to matches, not on a regular basis as I can't afford it, but save up for special games when I can. I have been to all of the above apart from Nou Camp.

Best game seeing Zola at Hillsborough, worst game was when my Dad took me to Hampden to see Scotland v England in 60's. Players looked like pees as we were far back in a 103,000 capacity crowd and I was surrounded by fellow Scots peeing into lager cans or down my leg. :hihi:

I'm sure the likes of Colchester, Hull and Derby County will help push the attendances up to the heights of 15,000 come next season.

I'd actualy expect Hull and Derby to bring a few more, so we could break 16,000 for those games. Colchester will probably go down though - if they don't it'll probably be 10,000... if we're lucky!!

Shows your lack of knowledge.

Hull and Derby are normally 2 of our biggest attendance so to bracket them in the same category as Colchester is ludicrous.

You got me. I'm not overly clued up on Sheff Utd attendances when playing in the minor leagues.
