skippy
Sad loss for Aussie motor sport, don't think some of his records will ever be beaten, e.g. 10 Bathurst's. Just heard that he is going to be given a state funeral in Melbourne.
Cycleracer
Sorry to sound ignorant my antipadean friends but who is Peter Brock.
skippy
Paul, Peter Brock was the king of motorsport in Australia, touring cars, rallies etc, he was the main driver for the Holden Racing Team for many years & more well known than Steve Irwin here. He died when his car hit a tree during a WA rally, he was 61.
steveg
The mountain will never be the same again without the king of the mountain, What can you say that Bathurst will never see another like Peter Brock just watching him race and you could see why he was the king of the mountain he made it look so easy. He will be missed by the world of motor sport

okka north
Can't believe the legend is gone. I spent many school holidays in the middle during my childhood. Does anyone know if Dick Johnson is still around.
bazmanau
Dick is still around and runs his own race, he did an interview just after Peter was killed. RIP Peter Brock.
