Address Bar Disappeared - My Documents

Not sure how this happened , or if it was ever displayed, due to it being a new PC.

 

I would like to see the address bar, I've checked through the Tools - Folder Options and on the View tab placed the ticks in the correct boxes, such as Display the full path in the address bar, in fact I have ticked the boxes to display everything.

 

None of this has altered anything. Can someone shed some light on this small but annoying problem?

Try putting your mouse pointer on the line just below the buttons and above the main content area so that it changes into a double headed arrow and drag down. Hope that helps.

go on any folder>folder options>view and tick the box which says

'display full adress bar'

Sorted.

 

my documents - view - unlock toolbars - address bar

 

This was then just viewable at the edge of the screen on the right, dragged back into place and then locked again.
