Albufeira - Where To Go???

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone...

Go to hopefully, sunny Portugal next week. Just wondered if anyone knows any nice restaurants (expensive & cheap) that we could visit.

Being a football fan I might wanna watch a game or two so any bar recommendations would be welcome as well.

Cheers...

Just noticed the header. Albufeira has two main area's. The Strip which includes Linakers Bar, (yes Gary Linaker) and Fishermans Beach which has some decent resturants. Dificult to say which one but lots have Sky Sports football. Still 28c here tonight daytime up to 35c but some rain Monday and Tuesday is forecast.

Thanks for your reply,

Staying in the area near the strip although it's also a 20 min walk to the Old Town bit. Don't mind a nice walk btw.

Will be in Albufeira Thursday morning so hopefully the rain will have cleared up by then???

I've been hearing plenty about a bakery @ the strip end & excellent chicken pies... any idea what it's called???

Ta.

Sorry can't help you with the chicken pies. I only know of two pie manufacturers. One is Borleys who don't have a shop there, and the other is Cornish Pasties. The Borley pies are good so it may be they supply someone locally.

Sorry to rain on your parade but the updated forcast is for isolated thunder-storms on Thursday. Chances are though it won't get this far East.

Hope you have a good holiday.
