Macca
Any reason why? I've got a PS2 - so familiarity and trust (in Sony) are a big factor. The Wii just sounds like a fun idea, Nintendo are a company to watch again (finally) Xbox - I just don't like them all that much - play on my mates quite a bit, but I just prefer the playstation. hoba
I'd put Macca's list in reverse order- Xbox 360 Wii then PS3. Used to always be a PS guy but playing on my mates 360 on xbox live has completely changed my mind. Plus, there's the fact that you'll be waiting until march now to get a PS3 whereas you can get an 360 tonight.

Wii - Looks so much fun PS3 - none existent overpriced hype machine.
Ghozer
Wii all the time... PS3 = £400 approx (on release) Wii = £180 appros (on release) PS3 has 'old' technology made new, and its delayed (again) Wii, has all new technology, will also have access to the full back catalogue of nintendo AND Sega games (right back to NES/Master System) I choose Wii over the 360 and PS3 any day, simply because of A) what it can do, and B) the price.. christait
I'd love to say PS3 but at the price that they are going to sell it for no thanks! Right now I am a PS2 bloke but i think when i go for my next gen console i will have to go for the Xbox360. The price of that is plumeting too which is a big factor for me! yosser_huges
WII Xbox 360 Im not even going to include the ps3 on my list, for 3 reasons. 1: Sony have delayed this for far too long, and inflated the price to a range that many will be put off by. 2: Sony's hardware is generally crap, my ps2 got about 1 years use at optimal efficiency, untill it had to be repaired, th laser raised to a point it was scratching my discs, and had to be realigned, Then it refused to play any disc (after repair) had to manually set the bloody pot, due to some pleb at sony not doing it right. 3: Where it really counts, games. Sony have learned that there is power in numbers, they can pump out so many toss games, and make money on them, Nintendo rarely mess up on games, and are usually a pleasure, no, privelage to play. PuressenceUK
Bought a 360 and never looked back. Pro reasons to get one NOW: 1) X-Box Live - quite simply the best online gaming service 2) Superb X-Box Marketplace system means you can download all the latest trailers, demos, movie clips and full games easily. 3) THE GAMES! Worth buying one for Dead Rising, Saints Row and Oblivion alone. Don't wait for a PS3 - enjoy next gen gaming now.
