elenac
I know the refurbishment of Sheffield Station has been talked about before but driving along Sheaf Street coming into work today I saw something which really made me wonder if the planners and builders actually talk to each other. At long last there is a new clock on the end of the station building and it has been working, but now someone has gone and put a new lamp post right infront of it so you can no longer read it

elenac
Apparently it will be superb when its all done, a fitting gateway for travellers to enter the city through, and why has the title of the post changed??
Edd
Apparently it will be superb when its all done, a fitting gateway for travellers to enter the city through, and why has the title of the post changed?? In our site rules we do ask that topic titles are descriptive and explain the content and purpose of the thread. Titles are often amended to make it clearer to someone browsing the forum exactly what each thread is about. I think it will look good when its finished - the station area has been a disaster for as long as ive been in Sheffield. Im quite pleased with the improvements so far. Hopefully it wont be such a weeping sore once everythings done. hth
