mojo1
In the early hours of this morning a fire broke out on the third floor of my block. The entire landing has been burnt out and every flat has suffered, at the very least severe smoke damage. Two fire fighters had to go to hospital and it will be weeks untill the clean up and repairs are completed. This was caused by somebody leaving their rubbish outside their door instead of taking it to the proper disposal point, that and some idiot setting fire to it. I don't have a question, I just want to express my contempt for the people responsible for it and my gratitude and respect for the firefighters involved. RosyRat
Mojo I'm your local councillor & was shocked to hear of the fire. I'll be up at Callow on Friday at 9 am with Cllr Terry Fox. We want to hear from tenants at first hand & offer any help or support we can. There is a CID investigation taking place, as you'd expect, but you may want to talk to us about the situation at Parkfield. My best wishes to all of you - I'm so sorry this has happened & hope you recover from the shock of this soon. See you Friday.
