nick2
ASDA mainly, it's cheap Waitrose as it's just down the road, though it's ridiculously overpriced even by John Lewis standards. M&S food, I find, is made for grannies, it's either realy bland (like their curries) or OTT sickly/fatty. Agree that Morrisons fruit & veg is vile. The grocers etc. on London Road are good though, if you've got the time.
Zebra
I've noticed that potatoes from Tesco go to seed a lot quicker than those from Netto or Aldi - am I the only one who will admit to shopping there? Did you mean Tesco? Or Netto and Aldi? I shop at Tesco most of the time, I like th Abbeydale Rd store, the layout is rarely changed which I like. The veg do go funny too quickly sometimes, including some plums I bought this week which went mouldy a day later - ridiculous! I like the selection though, sauces and so on, muc more variation than Morrisons. I like Sainsburys, I just don't like their prices. Not keen on Waitroses prices but the food and variety is fine. I actually dislike the building enormously and that's themain reason I don't go there. I don't like the feel of it when I'm inside.
littlebasher
Sainsburys for me... I tried Asda at Handsworth last week for the first time in ages.. Apologies to all the decent folk here who shop there, but when i went it was full of smelly Pikeys and shoplifting scumbags. Not at all as i remember it and i wont be going there again. In fact, my trip had to be abandoned due to all the a**holes that thought it was okay to barge their trolleys into my pregnant missus to move her out of the way, rather than politely asking..... Jabberwocky
Morrisons, its ok but once my other half gets that glint in her eye she can spend 100 quid there easily. Its bloody scarey.

It seems worse late at night, usually a cop car outside. I like Asda for the price, and also the price of clothes and DVD's
katy1981
I am increasingly finding myself shopping at Waitrose. Its not until I went there that I realsied how sub standard a lot of produce at Tescos, and expeically Morrisons, actually is. In this case, you certianly get what you pay for. we have to shop at tescos as its closest to our house and my partner doesnt see the point in driving far when theres a perfectly good spuermarket up the road even though they have a very standard range of products!
