Nomination for Most Selfish Motorist 2006

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to drop in a word for the selfish s*d who parked their Ford Focus so far up on the pavement on Freedom Road last night that there was less than a foot betwixt their front bumper and the garden walls of the houses.

Thanks for showing me the heights of selfishness that we can all aspire to if we really screw up all thought for our fellow human beings and toss it out the window like a discarded cigarette.

Near Heeley City Farm this kind of parking is commonplace, even worse when Sheffield United are at home. The worst parkers though have to be Securicor who park across pavements and block disabled parking places. As an electric wheelchair user I find Securicor the worst menace to disabled people in every city across Britain. If you park on the pavement you block wheelchair access and pushchair access and cause hazzards for those with visual impairment.

I would like to nominate all the stupid mums that park their 4x4's on both sides of the road near the school on carr road deepcar (and quite often sit with the engine running), I'm sure some of them actually park further away from the school than they live!:loopy:

Them's some real inconsiderate motorists!

The icing on the cake with the car that I mention is the fact that Freedom Road is often so parked up that you'd have to pretty much walk all the way back down in order to cross the road with a wheelchair or pram as the cars are parked so close together.

Way to go motorists!

And remember, if it's not you that's put at a disadvantage, then where's the disadvantage for you!

Its annoying when someone parks across two space in a busy car park, just so they dont get anyone bashing their cars when opening doors....

If people weren't so blase about damaging other peoples property then no one would feel the need to do that.

I'd bet that most of these motorists are actually just traipsing out a rather tired and cynical excuse to park very badly.
