DaBouncer
Last night I got my new 2gb SD card so I was updating my TomTom ONE satnav like a man possessed (sp). Anyway I added a few celeb voices (Sean Connery, Ozzy Osbourne, Arnold Swarzenegger, Homer Simpson etc etc) when I found a map overay for GB of T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspots around the UK. Anyway it tells you the lotation of T-Mobile Wi-Fi places wherever you are. It's great. TomTom has got to be one of the best investments I ever made! goldenfleece
I put some celeb voices on mine earlier this year but they started to drive me crazy...so went back to the default english female voice.
Allen
The John Cleese voice is funny......"You have arrived at your destination, but I am not going to carry your bags. From now on you are on your own." I have POI's installed for nearest banks, Morrisons, Tesco's, Asda, Argos stores, Fish and Chip shops, KFC, Little chef, PC World, and loads of Campsites. Best thing I ever bought.
joantel
We have the recently bought the Tom Tom 700,very pleased with it except when we travel up the A1 when we get to the new part around Ferybridge the thing goes crazy, keeps telling us in 80yds turn right,we are on the motorway, this goes on for around 10 miles then everything is back to normal.Anyone else have the same problem, been intouch with Tom Tom,still waiting for a reply that was 3 months ago. joantel

I downloaded the wifi hotspots from T-Mobile in the UK from the TomTom website for nowt. And I managed to get hold of a map overlay for LPG station POI's for free from another website too. Since I drive an LPG converted vehicle it comes in really handy.

Frightened the life out of me the first time when it told me to turn right in 80 yards - I was doing 90mph in the outside lane at the time! Thats a new stretch of road that the map data providers haven't yet got around to updating yet
