okka north
I don't think there is anything else left, is there? Having said that I am glad they are cleaning up school canteens of the utter rubbish they are serving our kids.

purdyamos
It'll be interesting to see how this sea-change in school food affects behaviour and concentration levels. If kids eat nothing but junk they are basically on a chemical high.

"When I was a lad" I remember the smell of boiling cabbage permeating the playground at "playtime" in the morning - about 2 hours before dinner! Why, when I was a lad, there was no tuck shop, and we had to pick our own dandelion leaves that were used as a substitute for cabbage in our school dinners! TheBlueDragon
When I was in junior school a teacher used to give us a treat for every 10ticks we got on our work. But I was told last year she was forced to stop as some parents said it was making there kids fat:o ________ LovelyWendie99
