Agent Orange
Argh - here comes my Monday morning rant. Be warned, this might go on for a bit lol. I was driving home yesterday and noticed, on the park around the corner from my home, a woman on a small quad bike racing over the dune like grass hills. Initially, I muttered the word chav under my breath cos these useless pieces of machinery really get on my man-boobs. Anyway, after a short ranting session to myself, I decided to look over again to see where she was and was left totally speechless by what I was about to witness. As I looked over, I noticed between the woman and handle bars was a small baby, can't have been any older than 1 year. What the hell, I initially thought to myself as I continued to drive the short distance to my house. I parked the car up and looked over again to ensure I wasn't seeing things. As I thought, my eyes weren't deceiving me and this woman had this baby on on her knees as she sped around on this device. I was totally outraged by this irresponsible and damn right stupid behaviour so I called the police. They sent a car around, eventually, but by this time the woman had disappeared. What the hell is this world coming to?! Obviously, this woman was dropped on her head several times to think that it would be fun to drive the baby around and not give a second thought about it's safety. I can still feel my blood boiling lol. ARGH!! Rant over!!
kittenta
I wonder if it had been the machines fault had the baby fell off, they don't usually blame themselves do they, stupid woman, some people just don't use the brains they were supposed to be born with. Daven
I think he was concerned for the babies health and welfare - more than the mother obviously.
kittenta
You'd have been complaining had she left the child on the grass whilst she rode....you have obviously nothing better to do than watch. Are a voyeur by chance or worse? she would have been being irresponsible either way so she shouldn't have done either of them! An older child then fine, I had my first motorbike when I was four, but a baby? Surely you don't condone that? Oh and I think the "voyeur" comment was not called for. BluePolo
Not a word about it being illegal to ride a quad in a public park....
Agent Orange
You'd have been complaining had she left the child on the grass whilst she rode....you have obviously nothing better to do than watch. Are a voyeur by chance or worse? Erm, yes I would have been complaining if she had left the child on the grass as this was a baby. You obviously think that it is acceptable cos she took the child with her on the quad. You are are quite clearly stupid if you think that it's acceptable behaviour. Also, I don't like what you are trying to imply with the 'are a voyeur by chance or worse' comment. I'm sorry, next time I see a child or whatever I will look away cos I don't want to be accused of being a paedophile.
Bouncy
I think Dick has every right to be appalled by this behaviour. Some mothers don't have the brains they were born with, not to mention it's illegal to ride a quad in a park. Those things are a menace. I think Gadgetgirl owes you an apology Dick, but I can't see you getting one can you.?
