pete_jim
It changed hands last year, I believe the Head Chef bought it from the owners. Some friends have been quite often and reckoned it was even better with the new owners. I am always saying we must go but never get round to it, it sounds fabulous. maxisdad
Meal is fantastic, but beware the "Additional appitizer" offered for £30. This is a piece of smoked salmon, the size of your thumb, with some caviar,, and 2 blinis. The most amazing rip-off of all time! I emailed them and told them that a restaurant of this stature does not need to resort to this. Never received a reply. Will never go near the place again... would rather spend a week in rip-off city
maxisdad
PS If you want to stay the night, stay at the pub next door, great rooms, brilliant landlords (3 i think), and the biggest breakfast youve ever seen. Just what you needs after 8 courses the night before!
