mr chris
This happens a lot with the various ISPs I've used. It's probably just a glitch at their end - mailservers are fickle things...
bandit
are you accessing email via a client such as outlook, or is it webmail... if ur using a client, try circumventing it by trying to log on through http://www.mail2web.com

RiffRaff
My money's on you using Outlook or Outook Express? It's a fairly common (annoying) problem.... You can adjust some aspect of the Registry, but unless you know what you're doing it's dangerous territory, so the easiest (but sometimes only temporary) solution is as follows : Make a note of all your email account names, addresses, Passwords for each account, Incoming Mail Server POP3 and Outgoing Mail Server SMTP settings..... Then delete all accounts! Then, rebuild the same ones with exactly the same info as before.... This rewrites the entries in the Registry and sorts your problem....
