For £1500 I can have the mods done to give me another 1/2 second to 3/4 seconds on the 1/4 mile . Should I go for it or should I utilise my hard earned money for important things? What does it currently do the standing quarter in Cliff, you mentioned the 13s on another thread IIRC? £1,500 is a fair whack of money to 'only' get a half second faster over the quarter mile - but that depends on the current time of course. Will it affect engine longevity? What does the £1,500 get you? Proper drag radials will cost you a lot less and probably give you just as good an improvement! The extra power and torque is what I want for the normal "normal being few times I get to use it" but I do take it to the strip at least 3 to 4 times per year. Like the idea of those tyres, are they street legal too? If so I'm gonna get some.
