Stock, Aitken and Waterman - Your Views.

Absolutely classic pop music. Very much of its time, and some of it hasn't stood the test of time, but a lot still fills certain dancefloors to this day. It's the music of my mis-spent late teens in the gay bars of Nottingham, and will always hold memories for me.

It should have been the music of my mis-spent late teens in the stright bars of Sheffield. I should have been in Roxy's and Cairo Jax in the late 80s.

Pete Waterman came out of the Northern Soul thing and just did what they did but without the soul

Spot-on.

Instantly forgettable cr*p. :gag: No music fan worth their salt would call such pap 'music'.

Stock, Aitken & Slaughterhouse did indeed slaughter music in Britain in the 80s - my 80s record/cd collection includes very little material from about 1983, except by the Smiths. The only listenable-to music that the mid-80s produced.

Pete Waterman should be shot (only joking mind! :suspect: ) for his 'contributions' to 'music'.
