happyhippy
Apart from a bit of Steve Wright if I'm about in the afternoon, or 80's metal radio on the net, Five Live is all I listen to.
Guest
Victoria Derbyshire is dreadful, though I do listen to Simon Mayo (especially for the good Dr Kermode's Friday film reviews). I occasionally tune in to 'Up All Night' too, if I'm having trouble sleeping.

Guest
On the Radio 5 Message board La Derbyshire is referred to as TBDW That Bloody Derbyshire Woman That's not the only way she's referred to . When I first starting listening to Radio Five, VD was away on maternity leave, I think. Julian Worricker (sp) was sitting in for her. He's a fantastic broadcaster and handled the usual numpty callers on the phone-in with aplomb. It was such a disappointment to find out that he was only there temporarily. He's presenting one of the BBC news programmes now, I believe.

The Derbyshire is awful; how she got a job in broadcasting is beyond me. I've always been a big fan of the Campbell too, and the Mayo is a lot better than I thought he was going to be ....... Christ, it's years since the Mayo started there isn't it?????

Do you know the story of Fi Glover? Apparently TBDW stole her bloke which is why she left

I used to lurk on the Radio 5 Board all the time and there was always talk of Worricker's "agenda" but as soon as it was mentioned directly the Mods would jump on it. After that it was always referred to obliquely I used to really like the Fig Lover, can't stand, sigh TBDW
