Desktop to laptop file sync programs

Ah, MS Synctoy! I've tried it Savannah and it screwed up badly...:(

 

... so I'm still using Second Copy which might be a bit long in the tooth, but it's tiny and it just works. You just need to make sure you create a deletions folder that you can easily find, and keep more than 1 copy of deleted files in case something goes awry.

Thanks Tony, I have never used it....I tend to shy away from anything requiring .NET Framework installation.

Hehe, well I'm using the 2000 version as I'm too tight to upgrade, so no .net needed. I'd be interested to try the new one though so I might give it a whirl in teh future.

 

It's still a cracking little routine style prog though.
